As much as we may dislike admitting it, war is as much a part of life as death. As far back as I can recall from history there have been wars. Some seemed senseless and some many believed were for a just cause. Nevertheless, lives have been sacrificed.
It is for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice that we pay tribute to this Memorial Day.
May their families find some comfort in believing that their loved one fought a good fight of faith and finished their course doing what they sensed was their duty.
And to all who have served their country, we remember you and say,
